    Kindness & hugs.
Hi guys here you - is a big thing reaching out and asking for help...exposed me to the risk of being rejected. Also feared that people would judge me which would add to my pain.

Fort was the first on-line community I have ever joined. For me the culture of acceptance inclusiveness helped me to relax...to gradually find my voice...feel safe to do so.

Was great to be able to share my issues and successes with others who also knew what it was like to live with abuse...its often profound and long lasting impact on your health and wellbeing.

Unsure see you are registered - are a member. Would like to remind others that membership is open to anyone over 16 yo who is seeking to heal from the not ok behaviour or abuse they have experienced...who are away from their abuser and stable enough to focus on their recovery. For more info click on the "Home" tab in the header
Rest in my arms precious child; cradled and warm. You are safe. The war is over.
