    Contributors Club

    Library is another part of Fort Refuge, along with forums and chat. Everyone can view it, but only members can participate. It's still young, but we can all chip in to make it happen, and this group is a deposit box for anything you want published: your thoughts/feelings/experiences on any topic relevant to abuse, its aftermath, or living as a survivor; creative writing, poetry, pictures, jokes, etc. Copy-pasting your forum posts is welcome!
    
    Why bother:
    
    - This group allows you to get the message across: other survivors will read your post, learn something new, get validation, relate to your experience - you will be helping someone with their healing process.
    - Get a credit for what you do. Sometimes we put a lot of thought into a forum post, but in a couple of months it's on page 20, and nobody will ever find it. It's a shame - some posts deserve to be published. If your post does not contain anything that should be kept private - post it here.

    Kids Out Loud Club

    This be a group for Kids (youth) to talk bout how they feel about the healing that be taking place in their systems. It be a place to share the good the bad the happy the sad and the bitter sweet. It be a place to learn from each other, help each other as we all does watch each other grow on this healing Journey. Since J*s*s be the biggest roll in my healin this also have lots of talks bout Him. Them threads will be marked with a *TW* so you cans practice self care. I does hope you wills come and use your voice cause you matter. Oh and bigs is welcome to watch over them youth insiders ~ even encouraged. (cause my bigs say I does be little and should be taken care of.) You cans even post positive encouraging feedback ifin you is a member of the group. However please member this does be called the Kids out Loud Club and you just be like the chaperones. Cause it a Kids club please use sp*ilers and lots of kind words and check to make sure hugs and terms of endearment is ok first :)

    Healing

    The whole site is about healing, really. But this group is for people to discuss what has helped them heal, and what stage they are at in their healing. Healing is a journey, and sometimes there are roadblocks along the way. How do we get past these roadblocks? How do we move on? Just as all abuse and our reactions to abuse are different, so is the way we heal. What has helped you? What has hindered you? The healing journey can be quite long, so let's help each other.

    For that reason I have created this group, to share YOUR art--born of your pain, struggle & healing--in all it's horrible, beautiful truth.
    
    Please come share the creativity that has helped you express what's in your heart. Feel free to post drawing, paintings, photographs, anything VISUAL based (Sorry, this group isn't for poetry, etc.) A description of what the piece means to you & how it developed (from heart to paper) would encourage discussion & support from other members!
    
    Also, if you are like me you love browsing art on the internet. If you come across an image you'd like to share upload a pic of it in the "Group Photos" section so we can all see!
